Twenty-plus years in, the work hasn’t changed much: one person, one plan, one hour at a time. I earned my NASM certification in 2004, and private clients have been the work ever since.
What has changed is how much I’ve had to keep learning. 31 continuing-education certifications between 2009 and 2019, most of them in older-adult training, injury and posture work, and high-intensity methods, because the body that walks through the door is almost never a blank page.
What I’m for
What People Actually Come to Me For
With over 20 years of private training experience, I can help you:
Get back into your best shape after a long break, an injury or a pregnancy.
Lose body fat and build lean body mass.
Improve your core strength to lose inches around your waist, which can also reduce lower back pain.
Rehab from back pain, sports injuries and normal aches and pains.
Make a complete lifestyle change and build healthy eating and exercise habits for a lifetime.
And in a group setting
Buddy Sessions, metabolic conditioning and interval training (HIIT, Tabata) · Core and low-back strengthening · Group training for efficient weight loss · Muscle strengthening and weight training to build muscle mass

What an Hour With Me Is Actually Like
Five things I do the same way for everyone, whatever they came in for.
My fitness and personal training philosophy is that if you make small changes every day, it will result in a huge transformation over time. This philosophy applies to your workout routine, nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Form First
If your technique starts to drift, we stop and fix it right then. Mid-set, not next week. It is coached as part of the exercise, not mentioned afterwards.
Never the Same Session Twice
“I’ll keep it fresh, different exercise each training session.” That is a promise I make publicly and keep on the floor.
I Train Around Your History
A knee that has been operated on, a new hip, a back that has been through it, a body six weeks after a baby. None of that rules you out. Exercises get adjusted until we find the version that works for you today.
Nutrition Is Not an Upsell
How you eat is part of the training, not an add-on I try to sell you later. Then I hold you accountable to it, which is the part clients tell me made the difference.
No Shame in the Room
Beginner or experienced, whatever your age and whatever your goal. Nobody has to be in shape before they are allowed to start. Turning up is the hard part. I can take it from there.

Where You Can Watch the Work
The training doesn’t only happen in the hour you book. Here is what I put out, and where.

- Instagram@fitnessrx
Short videos of real clients working one movement at a time: lunges into core rotations, kettlebell swings, slider work, balance on the Bosu. Filmed on the floor at Empire MMA.
- FacebookFitnessRxTampa
The practice page: contact details, where I’m currently training, and posts about who I work with. Collegiate athletes and new moms alike, regardless of age or experience.
- YouTubeFitnessRx Tampa
Short workout clips, filmed on the floor.
Why I do this
When I see my clients starting to achieve their goals, I really take it to heart. That’s why I love my job and why I got into this career. Helping people reach their potential is my passion.
Come and Meet Me. The First One Is on Me.
A conversation about what you want, a free body-fat analysis and a fitness evaluation, then a workout built around what you just told me. No commitment either way.
